Well again, it's time for the dreaded CORS module bidding session in NUS. CS3235 is going crazy. Let's pray that I can secure the module. If not, time for plan B.
After all, it may be God's will for me (:
2 modules to go, and God please bless me an excellent team for my CS3215. This time, it's all or nothing!
All for the best ~

Why am I so stupid?

It's almost to the end of the semester. Completed all assignments and tests. But the results were so bad! I even failed my PC1222 end of term test. IS2101 is not any better also. All my marks were just below average. I could only envy my classmates who had above average marks, (and it's all of them).
Life is so depressing! Suddenly, I felt that I have nothing to hope for anymore :(
There's still exams to go, in few weeks time. What more can I do now ?
Why am I so stupid? I wonder, again ~

t has been so long since the last time I wrote here :'(
There's just too many assignments to complete and they just keep piling up. Good news is that I'm left with 5 assignments but I can foresee 2 to 3 more coming up!
Alright, here's some food that I "devoured" from the start of my school term (:
Enjoy! I like the spongecake the most because it's not cream on the inside swirl. It's CHEESE (:
Yes, cheese! I love them (:
More food pictures coming soon ~

I love the crisp bacon ~ |
I ordered their American Breakfast, which is quite tasty. They cooked the 2 eggs into one ! But I loved their bacon and sausages. The bacon was so crispy and juicy ! The toast was nice as well, accompanied with butter and jam.
Their website is @ http://www.coffeeclubworld.com/
You can view more of their food there. (:
So yummy ~

Spent S$10 to buy a new usb mouse today to replace my spoilt one. I thought it was nice, but after I went back home and connected it to my laptop, the use mouse is flashing rainbow colors !! Yeah, it was nice, but too glaring :(
It irritates my eyes. Don't know should I regret buying it ? I didn't expect it to be glaring with colors.
Hope things will get better ~

Alright ! I just installed the freeware, Microsoft Security Essentials, after it has been residing in my download folder for some time. The interface is simple and neat. In my opinion, it is much nicer, compared to Malwarebytes' or Spybot - Search & Destroy.
Here's some introduction about the new Microsoft's anti-virus tool,
Here's some introduction about the new Microsoft's anti-virus tool,
About Microsoft Security Essentials
Microsoft Security Essentials provides real-time protection for your home PC that guards against viruses, spyware, and other malicious software.
Microsoft Security Essentials is a free download from Microsoft that is simple to install, easy to use, and always kept up to date so you can be assured your PC is protected by the latest technology. It’s easy to tell if your PC is secure — when you’re green, you’re good. It’s that simple.
Microsoft Security Essentials runs quietly and efficiently in the background so that you are free to use your Windows-based PC the way you want—without interruptions or long computer wait times.

Although it's free, your PC must be running genuine Windows in order to install Microsoft Security Essentials (:
I am currently using 3 adware/spyware/malware applications, namely Malwarebytes, Spybot and Microsoft Security Essentials. Pretty "kiasu", am I ? =X
Overall, I would still prefer Malwarebytes among the three. Despite how it looks, it managed to scan adwares out of my system while the other 2 didn't. Moreover, Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) took a rather long duration to complete a full scan.
However, MSE and Spybot do have Real-time protection. As for Malwarebytes, you'll have to purchase a full retail version to have RT protection for your system. The shareware version doesn't include that.
For those interested, this is a screenshot of how Microsoft Security Essentials' interface looks like:
For now, I guess I will just play around with these 3 freewares until they disappoint me. Then, out they go !

At long last, a new look for my blog It took me some time to find this wonderful layout with a theme named "Light Word". In my opinion, this is much better compared to the previous default template. Sleek and cool. (:
I have been introduced to a wonderful shareware from the hardwarezone edmwers. It's called Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware.
![]() |
http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php |
Key Features
Light speed quick scanning.
Ability to perform full scans for all drives.
Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware protection module. (requires registration)
Database updates released daily.
Quarantine to hold threats and restore them at your convenience.
Ignore list for both the scanner and Protection Module.
Settings to enhance your Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware performance.
A small list of extra utilities to help remove malware manually.
Multi-lingual support.
Works together with other anti-malware utilities.
Command line support for quick scanning.
Context menu integration to scan files on demand.
It looks good to me, so I downloaded it and gave it a try. I did a full scan, which took about 1 hour plus and resulted in 2xx adware discovered !! A real good application to keep (: It should be able to deal with adware/spyware/malware !
I have also downloaded another freeware called, Spybot - Search & Destroy. I've been using that since years ago but dropped it for Ad-aware. Guess I'm back for it again (: Pretty good so far.
Another cool software that I was recommended was Microsoft Security Essentials. Judging from the reviews, it looks really good and useful. I had downloaded it but not yet installed. Guess I'll leave it for later (:

[Review] ATB's service really cannot make it !!

I went for my breakfast this morning at a cafe near my house and ordered a set which consists of 2 half boiled eggs, 2 toasted breads and a cup of tea.
To my horror, <
yes HORROR !!> I was served by 2 ATB. I was hungry, so without much thought, I proceeded with my order.
They served me the tea first, and told me I have to wait for the half boiled eggs and breads. I said ok, since time is needed to boil the eggs and toast the bread.
I started drinking my tea, and it was damn sweet. It's ike half the cup was filled with condensed milk. I could even see the milk overflowing at the edge of the cup !
About 3 mins later, they served me the ready half boiled eggs and breads. I was shocked !
How can it be so fast ? I noticed one of the eggs is cracked and asked for her explanation.
She said, "It's normal rah, cook half boiled eggs must crack a bit of the shell and pour hot water inside. That's why only need 3 mins.."
Oh gosh ! Who said so ?!!!
I just think "FINE ! WHATEVER!", and go cracked the eggs, preparing to eat. Wa rao cb sia, the fking eggs machiam like raw like that. still can see the membrane.. wtf man..
Last time when I frequent the same stall operate by local aunties was not even like this !
At least the eggs are nice, just that the tea is really damn sweet rah..
knn... I think even our local ah lian can cook better than the ATB.. cb..
